Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks an experienced Bridge & Structures Project Manager to lead pursuits, design, and delivery of complex bridge projects in Northern California or the Central Valley. You will guide client development, manage multidisciplinary teams, and drive projects from proposal through construction.

The role requires 12+ years in bridge/structural design and PM, a PE license in California, and an MS preferred; the firm offers a flexible work environment, travel, and competitive compensation

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required; MS preferred.
• California Professional Engineer license required.
• 12+ years of bridge and structural design and PM experience.
• Knowledge of bridge design codes and seismic principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge and structural projects from pursuit to construction.
• Develop proposals including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain relationships with clients, agencies, and consultants.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams across civil, surveying, and environmental.
• Oversee PS&E packages, technical studies, and calculations.
• Perform bridge analysis using relevant software.
• Ensure code compliance with AASHTO LRFD and seismic design.
• Provide construction support and site visits.
