Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a senior structural engineer to design, analyze, and deliver aerospace structures for the Lunar Permanence program. You will create 3D models, manage interfaces, and support manufacturing and integration with NASA and partners.

We value hands-on leadership, rigorous quality, and proven experience with metallic/composite structures, GD&T, and CAD tools such as Creo/Windchill, Nastran/ANSYS.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design for aerospace/launch vehicles or aircraft.
• Experience with metallic and composite structures and first-order sizing.
• Familiar with GD&T ASME Y14.5.
• Strong 3D CAD and integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, development, and testing of primary and secondary structures.
• Create 3D models, detail drawings, assemblies, and interface control documents.
• Provide manufacturing support and guidance for integration.
• Support tests planning, execution, and data analysis for flight hardware.
• Maintain schedules, budgets, and technical status for hardware.
