Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a qualified engineer to design, analyze and test structural components for lunar transportation systems. You will develop 3D models, drawings, and interface control documents, while supporting manufacturing and integration for flight hardware.

The role emphasizes collaboration with NASA and national partners, applying practical fabrication approaches and cost awareness. A BS in engineering and strong CAD/FEA skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Structural design of metallic components and assemblies.
• Familiar with GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, development, and testing of primary and secondary structures.
• Create 3D models, detail part drawings, assemblies, and interface control documents.
• Provide manufacturing and production support for hardware.
• Support configuration development and trade studies.
• Create test plans, specifications, and documentation for flight hardware.
