Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a senior subject matter expert in the Data Center team to lead structural engineering across a portfolio of data center projects, including new builds and retrofits. You will guide technical direction, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and contractors to deliver high-performance solutions.
The role requires deep engineering expertise, strong communication, and the ability to navigate design, construction, and stakeholder challenges while upholding safety and quality
Qualifications
- BS in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
- PE registration or ability to become licensed in multiple states.
- Extensive structural engineering experience with data-center projects preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering for data center projects from design through delivery.
- Mentor junior and senior staff; supervise technical direction and reviews.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet schedules and budgets.
