Jacobs is seeking a senior structural engineer to lead a portfolio of data center projects, delivering high-performance, code-compliant solutions. You will mentor teams, coordinate with clients and management, and guide design-build execution from concept through delivery.

The role requires 15+ years in structural engineering, a PE license, and strong CAD/analysis software skills; travel is expected as needed. The position supports Jacobs’ hybrid working model across the U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 15+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation) and structural analysis software (RISA, RamSS, STAAD).
• Familiarity with building codes and construction processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structural engineering efforts across a portfolio of data center projects (new builds and retrofits).
• Mentor structural leads and coordinate with clients and upper management.
• Drive design direction, ensure performance, constructability, and quality governance.
• Oversee calculations for member design and foundations; manage schedules and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Guide Design-Build delivery methodology and influence design strategy across projects.
