Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, architectural engineering, or related field.
• Three years of experience in plan checking or structural/design work with building codes.
• ICC Plans Examiner certificate required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review complex construction plans for compliance with building codes.
• Assess plans submitted by builders, engineers and architects.
• Assist in the selection process and participate in interviews as needed.
