Job summary
Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking an Engineering and Technology (E&T) Manager to lead a high-performing team, shape direction, and drive technical excellence across programs. You will guide engineers, oversee budget and subcontracting, and ensure timely delivery of complex developments.
The role requires strong collaboration across multifunctional teams, expertise in structural & dynamics analysis, and experience with FE software (ANSA/Nastran/Abaqus/NX/FEMAP/Patran/HyperMesh).
Qualifications
- Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams
- Full Lifecycle Development Experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Extensive experience working specifically in a engineering role focused on Structural & Dynamics analysis
- Experience leading structural analysis efforts, including defining tasks for team members and executing to schedules
- Extensive finite element modeling experience with related application software such as ANSA, Nastran, Abaqus, NX, FEMAP, Patran, and/or HyperMesh
- Final secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Providing technical coaching and mentoring to team members
- Assigning work, developing employee careers, and offering ongoing feedback
- Coordinating employee recruitment, selection, and training
- Conducting performance assessments, salary planning, and recognition/disciplinary actions
- Developing engineering competencies and promoting customer focus
- Supporting program development, execution, and adherence to engineering development processes
