Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Advanced Programs & Special Programs Manufacturing Engineering team in Orlando, FL or Dallas, TX. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Manufacturing Engineering Experience.
• Experience with development programs and transitioning development programs to production.
• Experience in design for manufacturing / assembly or design to cost.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Ability to lead cross functional teams.
• Strong communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers to drive producibility and design-for-manufacturing across multiple programs.
• Provide technical and strategic direction across early concept development through transition to production.
• Drive adoption of model-based enterprise and digital thread from concept to delivery.
