Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando seeks an experienced operations leader to guide manufacturing planners from concept through production, ensuring precision and performance on defense programs. You will drive cross‑functional initiatives and lead a team focused on reliable, world‑class solutions.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality partners, design innovative control strategies, and leverage planning tools to reduce spans while maintaining schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Experience with MRP, demand and supply planning in manufacturing.
• Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing experience and SAP knowledge.
• Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production control strategies to keep projects on track and budget.
• Use advanced planning tools to inform design and reduce product spans.
• Solve complex problems and deliver practical outcomes across functions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, global supply chain, finance and quality.
• Maintain schedules and communicate impacts through meetings.
• Support multiple program needs to meet critical milestones.
• Review and approve Demand Requirements Load.
• Ensure Windchill/MPMLink and SAP S4 integration is accurate.
• Travel to support other production sites as needed.
