Job summary

Alpine, an ITW Company, in Daly City, CA, seeks a Senior Engineer to apply structural engineering expertise to wood truss designs, framing systems, repairs, and components using Alpine's software. You will lead technical reviews, solve complex problems, and provide guidance to engineers and designers.

Work closely with customers to develop practical, cost‑effective solutions while ensuring code compliance and robust design. Travel approx. 10% and office-based with occasional jobsites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or able to obtain with company support.
• Minimum 3 years with PE license or 10 years without PE.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze wood trusses, framing systems, repairs, and components using engineering principles and Alpine software.
• Collaborate with customers to evaluate layouts, loads, plan takeoffs, and provide safe, cost-effective design solutions.
• Review and validate designs for accuracy, codes, standards, and engineering principles.
