Job summary

Alpine, an ITW company, seeks a Senior Engineer to apply structural expertise to wood truss solutions and guide customers using Alpine's design software. You will design and analyze trusses, review layouts against codes, and mentor engineers while supporting field work and software improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with statics and strength of materials.
PE license or eligibility with company support.
Experience with truss design and drafting methods.
Strong knowledge of building codes and design standards.

Responsibilities

Develop complex structural solutions by designing and analyzing wood trusses, framing systems, repairs, and components using engineering principles and Alpine's software.
Partner with customers to solve technical challenges, including evaluating layouts, loads, takeoffs, and design solutions.
Review and validate engineering designs for accuracy, codes, and standards.
Provide technical leadership by reviewing work, training, and ensuring design quality.
Support field and product-related engineering needs, including site inspections.
Collaborate with software developers to enhance Alpine's engineering tools.
