Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional in the USA Southwest region (HI included) to support design teams on complex industrial projects. You will analyze and design steel and concrete structures, coordinate with engineers, and ensure adherence to IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC codes.

Hybrid work policy applies with collaboration across offices and sites. The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 4+ years of experience, plus strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 4 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC.
• Experience with structural analysis software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Perform structural analysis and design for projects.
• Collaborate with lead engineers and designers to communicate structural requirements.
• Develop design concepts and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
