Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our High Performance Building division. This full-time role supports a flexible work arrangement including remote or hybrid options, performing structural design and analysis across diverse project types.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, a PE license, and proficiency with Revit, RISA/SAP2000, and related tools, delivering quality designs on schedule while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience, focusing on building and facility design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Experience in seismic design for buildings per applicable codes.
• Proficient with Revit; familiarity with Bluebeam or similar document review tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the structural design and analysis of building and facility projects.
• Lead structural design for new construction, renovations, and modifications.
• Develop structural systems for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and foundations.
• Perform and review analysis and design calculations for gravity, wind, and seismic loads.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, geotechnical, and M/E disciplines.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and oversee drafting work.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and design reports.
• Support field investigations and project coordination on sites.
