Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Staff Structural Engineer (PE or Senior EIT) for a USA-hybrid role. Candidates should have 6+ years of project experience, a PE license or be preparing for the PE exam within six months, and a Bachelor’s in Structural or Civil Engineering.

Proficiency in RISA, ETABS, Revit, BIM tools, and AutoCAD is required. You will lead components, mentor juniors, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and more.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant structural engineering project experience.
• PE license or Senior EIT preparing to sit for PE within 6 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills with initiative.
• Proficiency in USA codes (IBC, ACI, AISC).
• Experience with RISA, ETABS, BIM tools, Revit, AutoCAD.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead key project components and work with EOR to establish codes, loads, and analysis methods.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design solutions across sectors.
• Develop calculations, plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project life cycle.
• Perform construction administration duties and site observations.
• Travel for project-related activities as needed.
