Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer (PE or Senior EIT) for a hybrid USA role. The candidate will lead structural design across manufacturing, automotive, and rail sectors, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The role supports growth into senior technical or project leadership stages.

Travel within the United States may be required. A PE license or progressing Senior EIT is expected, with a bachelor’s in Structural or Civil Engineering and strong

Qualifications

• 6+ years of structural engineering project experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Senior EIT candidate expecting to sit for PE in 6 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills with initiative.
• Excellent knowledge of USA National codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC).
• Proficient in structural software: RISA, ETABS, BIM tools, Revit, AutoCAD.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead project components with senior review.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design solutions.
• Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with EOR, multidisciplinary teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Perform Construction Administration duties and site observations.
• Travel for project-related activities as needed.
