Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Active PE license preferred.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DOE Q clearance.
• Minimum 10 years' structural engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality detailed design packages and provide field technical support.
• Prepare conceptual deliverables including cost estimates, SOWs, design criteria, and drawings.
• Work as part of an integrated project team or as a technical lead for multi-discipline tasks.
• Conduct walkdowns to generate design documents and provide field support.
• Apply engineering principles to building evaluations, seismic rehab, and equipment installations.
• Develop structural drawings and calculations for steel, concrete, and other materials.
