Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in New York/Connecticut seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a growing structures team from concept through construction. You will own project delivery, mentor staff, and cultivate client relationships across a diverse portfolio including new design and rehabilitations.

The ideal candidate holds a NY PE license, a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years in structural consulting, and strong proficiency with analysis/design software; Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• New York PE license required
• 10+ years of structural engineering consulting experience
• Experience with structural analysis and design software
• Knowledge of Revit is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects and act as technical resource
• Supervise and mentor engineers, designers, and technicians
• Perform structural analysis and design for diverse projects
• Develop construction documents including drawings and specs
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners and teams
• Conduct site visits and structural investigations
• Review shop drawings and submittals
• Provide construction administration and field observation
• Prepare engineering reports and project documentation
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources
• Maintain and grow client relationships
• Assist with proposals and business development
