Job summary

Conrad Consulting in North Bethesda is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer stepping into a Project Manager role overseeing delivery, client relationships, technical oversight, and team development.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of structural engineering experience, an active PE license, and a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering. You will lead design, coordination, and mentoring while managing budgets, schedules, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Active PE license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong building design and project delivery experience.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural projects from concept through construction.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Lead structural design, coordination, and quality control.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project partners.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Mentor and supervise Project Engineers and junior staff.
• Support proposals, client development, and new project pursuits.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve design challenges throughout project delivery.
