Job summary

Conrad Consulting in Indianapolis is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to lead projects from design through closeout while staying hands-on with structural engineering and client interaction. The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, a PE license, 4+ years of experience, and a strong background in steel and connection design.

You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
4+ years of structural engineering experience.
Experience managing structural engineering projects.
Strong background in structural steel and connection design.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead structural projects from initial design through project closeout.
Design structural steel connections, building structures, foundations, stairs, and rails.
Perform structural analysis and calculations in compliance with IBC, ASCE, and AISC standards.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, fabricators, and internal teams.
Review drawings, calculations, and technical deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
