Job summary

Conrad Consulting in New York City is seeking a Structural Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of structural engineering projects from concept through construction. You will own project delivery, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff while remaining hands-on in design.

The role offers leadership opportunities toward Senior Project Manager and is anchored in a collaborative, growth-oriented practice with prominent NYC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience, including managing building projects.
• PE license preferred, or actively progressing toward licensure.
• Strong design experience with steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and foundation systems.
• Experience managing clients, project teams, budgets, and schedules.
• Proficiency with structural software such as ETABS, RAM, SAFE, RISA-3D, or similar.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NYC Building Code, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and relevant design standards.

Responsibilities

We're partnering with a respected and growing structural engineering consultancy in New York City that is looking to add an experienced Structural Project Manager to its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a structural engineer who has progressed into project management and wants greater ownership of projects, clients, and junior staff while remaining technically involved in design.
