Job summary

IMEG in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead project teams and manage complex design efforts. You will collaborate with business development, executives and staff to shape scopes, fees, proposals and contract reviews, while guiding schedules and deliverables.

You will mentor staff, maintain client relationships, and ensure designs comply with IMEG and owner standards, with an emphasis on quality control and timely construction support.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
• MS in Structural Engineering preferred.
• PE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee and manage projects of varying size and complexity; serve as a primary contact for teams and clients.
• Collaborate with BD staff, Executives, and Market Leaders during early project stages.
• Assist with design scopes, fee calculations, proposals and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly billings and update billing projections and completion percentages.
• Ensure designs meet owner, IMEG, and code standards; support QC and construction in timely fashion.
• Lead meetings, coordinate design phases, and document outcomes.
• Engage in project interviews and presentations; respond to client concerns and manage change orders.
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff; build and maintain client relationships.
