Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer IV to lead complex structural projects in our Pittsburgh office. You will guide design teams, perform analyses, and ensure high-quality engineering solutions from concept through completion.

Applicants should have a ABET-accredited Civil/Structural degree, 5+ years of experience, and be PE or EIT eligible. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and related tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of structural engineer experience with demonstrated project leadership.
• PE preferred, EIT required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations in accordance with applicable codes.
• Provide leadership to junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary tasks.
• Lead projects, mentor team members, and communicate with clients.
• Prepare CAD drawings or sketches and supervise drafting efforts.
• Attend client meetings as SME and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
