Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer in one of the posting locations listed below.

You will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide and in the Western Region, with strong growth potential. The role emphasizes structural analysis and design for building, energy, and industrial structures, development of construction documents, and coordination with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• 8–15 years of structural engineering experience.
• PE or SE licensure preferred.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures (new and renovations).
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry, or wood.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
• Perform structural analysis and design for energy and industrial structures and related systems.
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.
