Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to provide customer-oriented design and construction services across the Central Region, with nationwide project reach. The role supports growth and collaboration across disciplines, offering a strong development path within a reputable, 650+-person firm.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, 5-8 years of experience, proficiency in steel/concrete/ masonry/wood design, and experience with Revit/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures
• 5-8 years of structural engineering experience
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Revit and/or AutoCAD proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
• Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems.
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.
