Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to support customer-oriented design and construction services for clients nationwide and in the Western Region.

The role includes structural analysis, development of construction documents, and coordination with project teams across multiple offices. Ideal candidates have 8–15 years of experience, a civil/structural/architectural engineering degree, and PE/SE licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• 8–15 years of structural engineering experience.
• PE or SE licensure preferred.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures.
• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry or wood structures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
• Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems.
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.
