Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join our team across one of several posting locations in Illinois or Missouri.

The role focuses on customer-oriented design and construction services for projects nationwide and in the Western Region. You'll perform structural analysis and design for building, energy, and industrial structures, develop construction documents, and coordinate with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering required, emphasis in structures.
• 8–15 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably for new and renovated projects.
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry or wood.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
• Perform structural analysis and design for energy and industrial structures and related systems.
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.
