Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team. You will work on Data Center projects, including new builds and retrofits, performing structural analysis, creating computer models, and coordinating with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D) and structural analysis tools (RISA, STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7 and related design codes; building code application.
• Proficient with MS Office and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural engineering analyses for data center projects.
• Create computer models for structures and perform member/foundation design calculations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Support project delivery, schedules, and budgeting, ensuring quality outcomes.
• Travel to client sites as needed (approximately 10–20%).
