Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team to work on data center-related projects, performing analyses and developing structural models. You will gain broader experience across design methods and tools while collaborating with a diverse team on capital projects.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 8+ years of experience, PE registration, proficiency in CAD and analysis software, and some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Reports and building codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Teams; travel 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of analyses and create computer models for structures.
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations; assist with schedules.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
