Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team working on data centers and related facilities. You will perform diverse structural engineering tasks, develop models, and contribute to project delivery across multiple sites in the United States.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering, 8+ years’ experience, PE registration or eligibility, and strong knowledge of CAD and analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of Building Codes and related design standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Travel to client sites approximately 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of analysis for structural projects.
• Create computer models for structures and components.
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations; prepare estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
