Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in the Advanced Manufacturing team to work on Data Center projects. You will perform analyses, build models, and calculate member designs and foundations, expanding your expertise across design methods.

You will collaborate with a diverse team across Jacobs offices, travel about 10–20% to client sites, and contribute to on-time, on-budget delivery while applying relevant codes and standards. The role supports a hybrid working policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer; ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software: RISA or STAAD.
• Familiar with ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and Building Codes.
• MS Office, Teams for remote coordination.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analyses.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations, and assist with schedules and estimates.
