Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for the Advanced Manufacturing team focused on data center projects. You will perform structural analyses, develop models, and design members and foundations for various capital projects.
You’ll coordinate with internal teams and Jacobs offices domestically and internationally. Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering with 8+ years of experience and a PE license or ability to become licensed in additional states.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering and 8+ years of experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to become licensed in additional states.
- Experience with CAD and structural analysis software.
- Knowledge of applicable design codes and Building Codes.
- Proficiency with MS Office and remote coordination tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of structural engineering analyses and design tasks.
- Create computer models for structures and foundations.
- Prepare member designs, foundation calculations, and material take-offs.
- Assist with project schedules and coordination with other offices.
- Travel to client sites as needed (10%–20%).
