Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing team, working on data center projects including new builds and retrofits. You will perform structural analyses, develop models, and coordinate with Jacobs offices globally.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, PE licensure, and proficiency with AutoCad/Revit/MicroStation/S3D and RISA/STAAD, with travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Experience with CAD software: AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and related design codes and standards.
• Experience with Building Codes and MS Office (Teams).
• Ability to travel to client sites about 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis and calculations.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Perform member and foundation design calculations and material take-offs.
• Assist with schedules and project coordination.
