Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing team, working on data center projects including new builds, retrofits, and colocation work. You will perform structural analyses, create models, and coordinate with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.

With 8+ years in structural engineering and a PE license, you will lead design tasks, ensure codes compliance (ACI/AISC/ASCE 7), and travel up to 20% to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to become licensed.
• Experience with ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and related design codes.
• Willingness to travel 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of structural analysis and design tasks.
• Creating computer models for structures and foundations.
• Performing calculations for member designs and material take-offs.
• Collaborating with teams across Jacobs offices worldwide.
• Supporting project delivery on data center projects.
