Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team and work on diverse data center projects, including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You will perform structural analyses, develop models, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver design solutions across Jacobs offices globally.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of experience, PE registration, CAD proficiency (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D) and strong knowledge of structural codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Tech Report 13 and related codes.
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability to travel to client sites (approximately 10–20%).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of analyses and create computer models for structures.
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations; assist with schedules.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
