Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineering Designer to support our Architecture and Engineering business unit. You will design structural engineering projects across the U.S., coordinating with Site/Civil, MEP engineers, architects, and project managers while delivering construction documents to meet client and code requirements.

The role involves working with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry, and offers a hybrid work model with possible remote arrangements or 1–2 days in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in structural/civil engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with structural design for buildings.
• EIT preferred; Revit and MS Office required; AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design tasks and create structural calculation reports under the direction of senior staff.
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations as well as generate reports/recommendations based on findings.
• Assist in maintaining task budgets.
• Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFI's and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Assist senior staff with the project approval process.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role.
