Sargent & Lundy is seeking a structural design professional to develop 3D structural layouts and deliver detailed drawings for complex plant projects. You will work under the Structural Project Lead, generating structural design deliverables, BOMs, and catalogs while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes leadership in the design process, experience with SmartPlant S3D, and the ability to mentor less experienced drafters.

Qualifications

• Experience with SmartPlant S3D modeling and SPF integration.
• Clash detection resolution and model coordination.
• Ability to review structural layouts, steel frames, foundations, and supports.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural steel and concrete design drawings in 3D models.
• Lead structural design coordination and resolve 3D clashes.
• Guide other designers and provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely design deliverables.
