Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Structural Designer to join the Advanced Solutions Group. The role supports design, drafting, and CAD leadership across wind tunnels, rocket/test stands, and aerospace facilities. Office bases include Tullahoma, TN; Farmington Hills, MI; and Greenville, SC.

The candidate will lead a drafting team, develop design solutions, and ensure drawings meet client and project requirements while coordinating with engineering and management.

Qualifications

• Experience developing 2D drawings and 3D models for structures.
• Strong leadership, organization, planning and communication skills.
• Proficient with CAE/CAD systems and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting teams on major projects with complex scope.
• Develop procedures to improve drafting work processes.
• Coordinate with engineering and management to solve problems.
• Prepare complete drawing packages and ensure accuracy.
