Amentum in the Advanced Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer. The role supports critical missions across defense, energy, and civilian sectors and is based in Farmington Hills, MI, with other office options in Tullahoma, TN and Greenville, SC.

You will lead multi‑discipline teams to deliver complex design, analysis, and construction packages across steel, concrete, and masonry structures.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required by government regulations.
• Minimum 10 years of structural design/analysis experience.
• Proficient in building codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE).
• Experience leading a small team of engineers and drafters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineers and drafters through all project phases.
• Provide complete design solutions from concept to construction.
• Apply design loading per codes and perform hand/finite element analysis.
• Oversee 3D modeling and 2D drawings development and construction bid packages.
• Coordinate design solutions with clients and other disciplines.
