Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a civil/structural drafter to perform complete design work on assignments under general supervision. You will develop drawings for concrete and structural steel, support field verifications, and assist engineers with preliminary studies.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of relevant experience, an AAS in engineering tech or CAD, and proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation. The role includes benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Engineering Technology or CAD.
• 4+ years of relevant civil/structural drafting experience.
• Ability to produce drawings for concrete and structural steel.
• Familiarity with design standards and CAD drafting procedures.
• Proficient in CAD software and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft civil/structural plans under minimal supervision.
• Review drawings and layouts from vendors and other disciplines.
• Assist with cost and material estimates and preliminary design studies.
• Mentor entry level teammates and coordinate with project teams.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of drawings per engineering calculations.
