Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Civil Designer IV to perform advanced civil/structural design for complex projects. The role requires extensive experience, familiarity with AISC/ACI standards, and the ability to produce accurate construction drawings for civil, concrete, and structural steel elements.

You will work under general supervision, mentor junior drafters, and collaborate with multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of AISC and ACI standard details.
• Ability to produce drawings for concrete and structural steel, and/or civil disciplines.
• Familiarity with specifications and installation details of construction bulk materials and equipment.
• Knowledge and understanding of CAD drafting standards.
• Ability to create accurate civil/structural construction documents from vendor drawings.
• Understanding of workflow between disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Draft civil/structural plans under minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with team leads and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy and quality under engineering direction.
• Assist in scope definition, estimates, and project scheduling.
• Provide field support and on-site assistance during startup.
