Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced Structural Designer to develop steel and reinforced concrete drawings using SmartPlant S3D. You will lead the structural design within multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate deliverables, and resolve 3D model clashes, mentoring less experienced drafters along the way.

The role emphasizes independent planning, coordination with engineers, and delivering complete design packages in a fast-paced plant design environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SmartPlant S3D modeling and SPF integration (S3D-SPF)
• Clash detection resolution and template/catalog development
• 10+ years in structural plant design drawings (steel & concrete)
• Review of structural layouts: steel frames, foundations, rebar detailing
• Vendor drawing reviews and interface management
• Interdisciplinary coordination within plant design teams
• Proficiency with 3D plant layout design software
• Mentoring and guiding junior drafters/designers

Responsabilités

• Lead structural design activities within multi-discipline teams
• Develop structural steel framing and concrete drawings per project requirements
