Job summary

MiTek Inc. seeks a Design Engineer IV for hybrid work from one of our engineering offices in Chesterfield, MO. The role focuses on sealing design of truss components, ensuring compliance with codes, and solving engineering challenges in collaboration with engineers and customers.

The position requires an active PE license, 8+ years of related design experience (SE) or 10+ years with PE, plus strong communication skills. Travel is minimal and benefits include a Sign-On Bonus and competitive perks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering (Civil or Structural) required.
• Master's in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design truss components per customer specs.
• Prepare design drawings for PE review and certification.
• Review EIT/PE work for accuracy and seals.
• Mentor EITs and PEs.
• Collaborate跨 functional teams on complex problems.
• Discuss design modifications with customers.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting design issues.
