Job summary

Meier Concrete, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Concrete Estimator to take projects from bid documents through quantity takeoffs, pricing, and proposals. This remote role targets candidates in Latin America, with a Pacific Time alignment for schedule.

You will collaborate with our Chief Estimator and teams to estimate foundations, slabs, shear walls, beams, and formwork, using Bluebeam Revu and Excel for pricing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience independently estimating structural concrete construction.
• Strong 2D takeoff skills using Bluebeam Revu or comparable PDF takeoff software.
• Excellent written and spoken English for client communications.
• Ability to read and coordinate drawings across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed 2D quantity takeoffs from PDF drawings using Bluebeam Revu.
• Develop estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, formwork, shoring, and subcontracted scopes.
• Estimate foundations, footings, grade beams, pile caps, and slabs-on-grade.
• Estimate elevated and suspended slabs, shear walls, columns, beams, and other vertical concrete elements.
• Review reinforcing steel and post-tensioning requirements and incorporate supplier pricing.
• Build and check pricing in Excel with documented assumptions.
