Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Structural Concrete Estimator to join their national team. This remote position involves preparing accurate takeoffs and cost estimates for structural concrete projects, including tilt-up warehouse builds and other related scopes. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, along with 3-5 years of construction experience. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in estimating software are also required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of construction experience preferred.
• Proficient in estimating processes including bid invitations and quantity takeoffs.
• Must be able to understand plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate takeoffs and detailed cost estimates for structural concrete projects.
• Manage concrete tilt-up warehouse builds.

This role will be remote and reporting to the Preconstruction Manager. The goal is to bring this national team to Phoenix. An office will be established in the near future.

The Structural Concrete Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate takeoffs and detailed cost estimates for structural concrete projects.

• Other related scopes in civil and industrial construction

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar field or equivalent 3-5 years minimum of similar construction experience.


• Self starter with excellent time management skills, interpersonal/customer service skills and extremely detail oriented


• Works well in team environments. Ability to efficiently multi-task.


• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, GC's, as well as project owners.


• Proficient in all estimating processes including, but not limited to, bid invitations, quantity takeoffs, applicable unit rates, estimating software's, understanding plans, and specifications after review..


• Proficient in Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, and Estimate (B2W).
