Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced structural analyst to perform detailed hand calculations and FE analysis of aerospace structures for the New Glenn program. You will document stress analyses to support release of engineering drawings and qualification reports, and collaborate across teams to drive design trade studies. The role requires 3+ years of aerospace experience, strong proficiency in Nastran/Ansys/Abaqus, and mentoring capabilities.

A B.S. in engineering is required with M.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering required; M.S. preferred.
• 3+ years with aircraft/spacecraft/launch vehicle structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed hand calculations and FE analysis of aerospace structures.
• Document stress analyses to support release of drawings and docs.
• Plan and execute test campaigns; generate analysis reports for hardware qualification.
• Support configuration development and trade studies with inputs from multiple teams.
• Mentor junior structural analysts in stress, stability and fracture analysis.
