Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Structural Analyst or Principal Structural Analyst to support the Sentinel program, focusing on post-boost structure design and analysis.

The role requires experience in structural dynamics, bolted/welded joints, and familiarity with CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer, ABAQUS, FEMAP, ANSYS, MATLAB; DoD Secret Clearance is required. A 9/80 schedule and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Structural Analyst: 2 years with Bachelors in Science; 1 year with Masters; 0 years with PhD
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
• Knowledge and/or experience with structural dynamics analysis of spacecraft, aircraft, or missiles

Responsibilities

• Analyze structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite materials for product design
• Analyze damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling
• Use CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer and a variety of software applications
