Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal Structural Engineer to lead structural analyses for the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah. You will work on facilities and subsystems supporting missile upgrades, applying dynamics, loads, and vibroacoustic analyses within an integrated team environment.

You should have a DoD Secret Clearance, a technical engineering degree, and hands-on experience with MATLAB and major FE tools. This role offers a 9/80 schedule and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering or relevant technical field; US Citizen with DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience in structural dynamics analysis of spacecraft, aircraft or missiles.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and structural analysis software tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze design/analysis of facilities and subsystems to support missiles upgrades.
• Develop structural specifications and models for product design and operation.
• Perform damage tolerance, durability, and stress fatigue analyses.
• Collaborate with adjacent disciplines in a highly integrated team.
