Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Design Engineering Analysis Section Manager 2 in Roy, UT to lead a team of structural analysis engineers on the Sentinel program. You’ll focus ~80% on structural analysis and ~20% on recruiting, staffing and talent development, with coordination across leads and regular technical reviews.

Required: STEM degree with experience, US citizenship, ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, and expertise in FEA tools (Abaqus/Ansys/Nastran).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM or Master’s with relevant experience.
• Excellence in structural analysis with ability to present technical content.
• US citizen able to obtain DoD Secret clearance and SAP eligibility.
• Experience with Abaqus, Ansys or Nastran and FEA methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead a growing team of structural analysis engineers and oversee tasks and reviews.
• Coordinate with program leads, schedule and conduct technical reviews.
• Recruit, staff and develop talent; conduct 1:1s and performance discussions.
