Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Structural/ Principal Structural Engineer in Roy, Utah to support the Sentinel program. You will perform advanced structural analyses, collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines, and use tools like MATLAB and Nastran to analyze dynamics, loads and vibroacoustic effects on missiles and spacecraft.

Candidates should have DoD Secret Clearance eligibility and the ability to obtain SAP approval.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience with structural dynamics analysis of spacecraft, aircraft, or missiles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design/analysis of facilities and subsystems for the Sentinel upgrade and flight test facilities.
• Develop and verify structural engineering specifications for product design and operation.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, aerodynamics, stress analysis, design and test teams in a highly integrated environment.
• Utilize MATLAB and modal/transient analysis tools (e.g., Nastran) for data interpretation.
