Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Roy, Utah, is seeking Structural/ Principal Structural Engineers for the Sentinel program. This full-time role offers a 9/80 schedule, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance.

Roles require DoD clearance eligibility and SAP access preparation, with expertise in spacecraft/ missile structures and dynamic analyses. Top candidates will have strong MATLAB skills, experience with Nastran modal/transient analyses, and the ability to collaborate across engineering

Qualifications

DoD Secret Clearance eligibility required.
Ability to obtain SAP approval.
Experience with structural dynamics analysis of spacecraft, aircraft, or missiles.
Professional knowledge of missile and/or spacecraft structures, statics, strength of materials, structural dynamics principles.
Collaborate effectively with adjacent disciplines in a highly integrated team environment.
Proficient in programming and use of MATLAB for analysis.
Experience running modal/transient analysis in Nastran.
Experience with vibroacoustics analysis for launch vehicles.

Responsibilities

Design/analysis of facilities and subsystems for the Minuteman III upgrade.
Perform structural analyses of metals, non-metals, or composites.
Collaborate with systems engineering, aerodynamics, stress analysis, and design teams.
